Anna Faris Leaving Mom after 7 seasons.
The CBS star Anna Faris earlier on announced that she will be leaving the series “MOM” ahead of the 8th season which was supposed to start on the fall of September.
The 43 year old told the press (TVLine)” The past seven years on Mom have been the most fulfilling and rewarding moments of my career,” Faris added ,”I’m so thankful to Chuck [Lorre], the writers, and my amazing castmates for creating a truly wonderful work experience. While my journey as Christy has come to an end, allowing me to pursue new opportunities, I’ll be watching next season and rooting for my TV family.”
So we all know its a goodbye.But this has brought about alot of tension to all the MOM fans as we are all anxious to see how our all time favourite sitcom will be without Anna Faris in it.Though Chuck Lorre announced that there will be an opening for the cast of Christy. So i’m guessing they will be looking for someone just like her.
I personally don’t know who our next Christy will be ,or even how mom will be without Christy.Its obvious that Christy and Bunny were the best pack but now we’ll have to wait and see,though we’ll miss the crying christy.
We’ll miss that pack ,all their fights and laughter .But Chuck Lorre is one creative writer and producer ,I know he has something hot for us this coming this season .
Although the 43 year old ,Anna Faris just announced this just a day ago,her exit was known pretty early, and the writers’ room has already figured out how to write her character out of the upcoming season.
Still, her main reason for departure is unknown. Though we can cling on “new opportunities” she mentioned in her brief statement, even though it sounds vague. Maybe someday she’ll reveal her reasons for leaving when she actually just renewed her 2 year contract in 2019 together with Alisson, but whatever the reason, Mom will return later this fall to a new era without her but with someone like her (a look alike or something lets wait and see.)
